Welcome!
By day I am the design/print director for a t-shirt and embroidery company and the Local Union Chairman for its employees. While at most other points of the day in between sleep and eating, I'm pounding out my independent work! So, welcome to my first site, here you'll find the expanses of my labor (and recreation).
While freelancing, I'm going on 10 years in print design including magazine illustration, poster art, t-shirt design, basic identity and just about everything in promotional goods -- hats, pens, banners, stickers -- the list goes on. I’ve had a lot of great experiences honing my trade along the way, and finding that my business design also reflecting back to my artwork in studio. For that my thanks go to everyone who I’ve had the pleasure of working with, sharing and drafting ideas together.
I live in an urban environment and use that edge in my vision and work... I definitely like pushing the envelope with my own visual ideas, but also giving business a little zest. I think I work best as a digital illustrator while seeking the depth of pen and ink, sharpie, wood engraving and spray paint is rather a passion. I bring a strong cross of vision and technique to my personal and business portfolios.
Designing logos with a streamlined identity is my favorite challenge, but I also find “diamonds-in-the-rough” with every job. Whether you need design with a far and away approach or a simple job with a clean finish we should discuss it... I love working for people with big ideas as well as helping others build them.
